Before submitting the Request for Summer Student Loan form, submit your 2024-25 FAFSA as that is needed to determine your eligibility.
-
Are you or do you plan to register for 6 or more credits for the summer 2024 semester?
-
Students must be registered for at least 6 credit hours to be eligible to borrow federal student loans. However, there are other aid programs for less than part-time enrollment (1-5 credits) to consider. Contact Student Financial Services if you have any questions about summer aid eligibility by visiting www.delhi.edu/sfsconnect.
Reminder: If you are eligible for the Federal Pell Grant, that funding will automatically be applied to your account after registering for summer classes. Students must have a completed 2024-2025 FAFSA before we can determine Pell eligibility.

Please Note: Eligible students may be able to receive a full Pell award for all terms of the academic year (summer, fall and spring) and this is referred to as 'Year Round Pell'. To receive the additional funding, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credits (part-time) for the upcoming spring semester, which is when the additional funding would be awarded. Students who plan to be less than half-time for the spring semester (or have received close to their lifetime pell limit) may receive a limited award in the spring.
